Lynne helps with the boating chores and marine activities when she isn't busy with her real job, which is the

Mark Michael
Mark and his wife Lynne founded Dive Rota in 1986. The ocean and diving have been part of Mark's life since he
was in High School.
He holds a NAUI Divemaster certification along with numerous other underwater, boating and first aid certificates.
He is a former Navy diver and worked for years as a commercial diver in California and Asia before coming to the
island of Rota and opening Dive Rota.
Since the closing of the Dive Rota shop on February 28, 2006 you can usually find him operating a dive boat for Sirena Marine
Service, out on his own boat fishing, doing a diving or snorkeling charter or working on a small commercial diving job.
